Terms and Conditions of Adean Treks E.I.R.L

The following regulates the use of Andean Treks through the website andean-treks.com of the company ANDEAN TREKS E.I.R.L., a company with RUC No. 20614042371 and domiciled in the province of Carhuaz and the department of Ancash.

Access to and use of Andean-Treks is subject to the following General Terms and Conditions:

1. We accept reservations made more than 30 days before the start of the trip. Reservations will be confirmed in writing after a 20% deposit of the total price. The remaining payment can be made upon arrival in Peru to the city of Huaraz before departing for the trek.
2. We require personal information from each client. Such as: name, nationality, passport number, age, dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, gluten, etc.)
3. Prices are quoted in US dollars per person. Only in some cases is this specified otherwise.
4. If the client wishes to cancel their trip, they must do so 30 days prior to the trip and will receive a 50% refund of the initial deposit. If they decide to cancel their trip 29 days or less before the start of the trek, the client is subject to forfeiture of the entire deposit.
5. The client is responsible for obtaining their passport, visa, travel insurance, paying for luggage, extra expenses, drinks, food, tips, and expenses not specified in the program.
6. Andean Treks Travel and Tourism Agency will verify that all passengers have full travel insurance. This insurance is mandatory for all clients traveling with us. It is also necessary to consult with your doctor.
7. Travel itineraries are carefully planned, and the program can only be modified when deemed necessary for the benefit and safety of clients.
8. The programs depend on the client’s desired location, and we are obliged to send them the most detailed information.
9. Throughout the tour, passengers are responsible for their own luggage.
10. Despite taking every precaution, Andean Treks Travel and Tourism Agency is not responsible for injuries, illness, losses, damages, additional expenses, unforeseen weather-related delays during the trip, or other irregularities that may be caused by natural disasters or social or political changes.
11. If a client suffers from any illness, whether heart disease, prostate disease, epilepsy, asthma, etc., they must inform the agency. They must also personally bring any medication they are taking.
12. If a customer decides to cancel their trip mid-tour for any reason, they will be required to pay for their own transportation to Huaraz.
13. Payment Methods: You can pay by bank transfer, which allows you to transfer funds from your bank account to ours. In addition to the total trip price, you will be charged an additional bank transfer fee and administrative fee, which will be added to our account.
14. When you confirm your trip, we will provide you with our complete bank account details.
15. The time it takes for us to receive a transfer sent by you is 2 to 3 business days depending on the location from which you sent the deposit.
16. We also accept payments via Western Union if you’d like to avoid extra bank charges. This company has offices in Europe and North America. You can easily send your money to us.
